As we continue to take precautions against the coronavirus, I am requesting families to purchase Lysol disinfecting wipes and Lysol disinfectant spray for each classroom. We appreciate your help.
STA will be offering grades 1-8 Summer School this year. Ms. Sunni Eilers will be Principal. The dates are Monday, June 15th through Friday, July 17th. Summer School registration has begun beginning, Saturday, February 29th at 9:00 a.m. and ends Monday, May 11th at 8:00 a.m. Program information can be found at http://sfsta.org/summer. The enrollment page is at http://sfsta.org/register. We are ONLY accepting on-line registrations/payments for summer school. Come join us for STEAM Family Night this Friday, March 6th, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the auditorium, Science Lab, and Computer Lab. There will be lots of new hands-on and exciting activities for the kids. Sign up for service hours or pre-order pizza dinner at https://sfsta.org/steamnight.
Please join us this Sunday, March 8th, for our 9:30 a.m. Family Mass hosted by the third graders.
Spring pictures for Preschool-8th will be taken next Wednesday, March 11th. The students will have free dress for their picture. If you would like your children to have Preschool-8th sibling pictures taken, please let the office know.
Also, next Wednesday, March 11th, is the PTG Meeting at 6:00 p.m. in the auditorium. Childcare will be provided.
The Scholarship Fund for Students (Boys and Girls Scholarship, grades 3-8 only) at STA will be accepting letters of application, beginning today. Letters of application is due on Wednesday, March 11th. Please refer to page 19 of the Parent and Student Handbook for more information.
The Archdiocese of San Francisco offers financial aid for K-8th. You would need to go to www.tads.com on the Internet for the application and directions on what to do. The Archdiocese’s Department of Catholic Schools reviews the completed applications, ranked on the basis of financial need. Late applications will NOT be considered. The Archdiocese will announce Elementary Family Grants to elementary families and their schools.
Chocolate Chip Cookie sale is next Friday, March 13th.
Pizza Bingo Night is also next Friday, March 13th, at 6:00-9:00 p.m. in the auditorium. If you are interested in volunteering for this night, please sign up at http://staptg.org/pizza. If you are interested in donating for this night or have any questions or concerns, please email to firstname.lastname@example.org. The PTG/Sports Committee will be hosting this fun night. All proceeds go to STA Sports.
March is Shoparoo month! The class that submits the most receipts in March will receive a free dress day in April. Shoparoo is one of STA’s most lucrative and easy fundraisers. You do not need to purchase anything to participate in this fundraiser. For more information, please see the flyer in this Tuesday’s envelope.
We are teaming up with Dave & Buster’s in Daly City and selling Power Cards for only $20 each. The best part is 50% of the proceeds go directly back to the school. Each Power Card will come with 223 chips and unlimited video (blue lit) game play on the day the card is activated. Please see flyer in this Tuesday’s envelope for more information.
The Annual Gala and Auction is just around the corner! It is on Saturday, April 4th, from 5:00-11:00 p.m. at the Mark Hopkins Intercontinental Hotel on Nob Hill! You can purchase tickets online at staptg.org/gala2020. If you have any questions, please email at email@example.com.

NEED SERVICE HOURS? Help sell ads (different sizes and prices) for the gala program booklet or solicit for auction items from your favorite businesses. Deadline for donated auction items is March 15th. Program Ad Sales deadline is March 25th.

- 2 bottles of wine ($10+ per bottle) = 1 service hour for every 2 bottle donation
- gift cards = 1 service hour for every $20 donation
- auction items ($50+ per item) = 3 service hours for every item

- paid advertisement in gala program = 2 service hours for ¼ page
