We are very proud of our Students of the Week.

The K-4th grade musical “Jumpin at the Woodside” will be tomorrow Wednesday, February 19th, at 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium.

The annual 8th grade retreat will be this Friday, February 21st, and through this Sunday, February 23rd. It is conducted by Mrs. Anderson and Mrs. Cabe-Reyes at Walker Creek Ranch in Marin County. It is one of the highlights of 8th grade. Please pray for them on this incredible journey.

Progress Reports will be distributed also this Friday, February 21st.

Next Monday, February 24th, is a minimum day with dismissal at 12:30 p.m.

Time is flying by! The registration form for 2020-2021 school year was distributed to your child couple weeks ago. The form and fee are due back also next Monday, February 24th.

Ash Wednesday Mass is next Wednesday, February 26th, at 8:30 a.m. in the church. You are all welcome to attend. Every Friday during Lent, our students attend the 8:30 a.m. mass followed by the Stations of the Cross. You are also welcome to attend.

Jog-A-Thon is next Thursday, February 27th, with PLENTY of volunteer opportunities. The donations help support the Sports Program. GOOOOO TOMCATS!!

Come join us for STEAM Family Night on Friday, March 6th, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the auditorium, Science Lab, and Computer Lab. The Scholarship Fund for Students (Boys and Girls Scholarship, grades 3-8 only) at STA will be accepting letters of application, beginning today. Letters of application will be due on Wednesday, March 11th. Please refer to page 19 of the Parent and Student Handbook for more information.

The Archdiocese of San Francisco offers financial aid for K-8th.  You would need to go to on the Internet for the application and directions on what to do. The Archdiocese’s Department of Catholic Schools reviews the completed applications, ranked on the basis of financial need. Late applications will NOT be considered. The Archdiocese will announce Elementary Family Grants to elementary families and their schools.

Pizza Bingo Night is on Friday, March 13th, at 6:00-9:00 p.m. in the auditorium. Preorder form is in today’s Tuesday packet. The Annual Gala and Auction is just around the corner!  Celebrating STA’s 70 plus years in providing quality education in the Richmond District, join the STA community on Saturday, April 4th, from 5:00-11:00 p.m. at the historic Mark Hopkins Intercontinental Hotel on Nob Hill! This is the main fundraiser for PTG, which is working to raise money this year and will be a very special evening of alumni, current STA families, and community. Grades 3-8 sports of boys’ baseball, boys’ basketball, and girls’ basketball registrations are now open. All registrations must be completed on line at

If any parents have taken pictures at school events, such as Field Day, Halloween Festival, etc., please submit your photos to Mrs. Lockwood (1st grade teacher) as soon as possible to be included in the school yearbook.
